Install your eSIM on iPad Pro 11-inch (1st–4th gen)
These are shared iPad instructions. Menus vary with the software version and regional model.
Wi-Fi + Cellular models only. Wi-Fi-only iPads cannot use a mobile eSIM.
Check the activation policy for your plan before installing: validity can begin at installation or at the first network connection. Reinstallation may not be supported.

Before you start
Use Wi-Fi and an unlocked, eSIM-compatible device. Confirm compatibility for your exact model and country of purchase.

Open Camera
Display the QR from your esim0 account on another screen, then open Camera on your iPad.

- Add Cellular Plan

Scan your QR code
Point Camera at the QR, tap the cellular plan notification, then Continue and Add Cellular Plan. Follow any remaining prompts.

Connect at your destination
At your destination, select this eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming for this line. Keep roaming and automatic data switching off for your home SIM.

Your QR is on the same device?
On iOS or iPadOS 17.4 or later, you can press and hold the QR in a supported email app or browser, then choose Add eSIM. If this option is missing, use another screen or enter the details manually.
Install manually
Cannot scan? Choose manual entry and use the activation details in your account. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code where requested. Keep these details private.
