Before you start
Use Wi-Fi and an unlocked, eSIM-compatible device. Confirm compatibility for your exact model and country of purchase.

Open your settings
Open Settings and follow the path below. Menu names vary by model, language and software version.

- Add eSIM
- Use QR Code

Scan your QR code
Open the QR code from your esim0 account on another screen. Scan it using Add eSIM and follow the prompts. Label this line Travel.

Connect at your destination
At your destination, select this eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming for this line. Keep roaming and automatic data switching off for your home SIM.

Your QR is on the same device?
On iOS or iPadOS 17.4 or later, you can press and hold the QR in a supported email app or browser, then choose Add eSIM. If this option is missing, use another screen or enter the details manually.
Install manually
Cannot scan? Choose manual entry and use the activation details in your account. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code where requested. Keep these details private.
