Yes. Your eSIM carries mobile data and your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS at the same time. Set the eSIM as your mobile-data line so your home SIM doesn't use data abroad. Calls and texts on your home number are billed by your home carrier under its roaming terms.
Do I need an ID or passport to purchase?+−
No ID or passport required. You can check out as a guest with just your email — an account is created for you afterwards so you can find your eSIM again.
Can I use eSIM0 to create a hotspot?+−

Can I make calls and send SMS with my eSIM?+−
