For Thailand, Simbye, eSIMFOX and ESIM0 publish travel eSIM offers with different package details. Start by matching total data, daily high-speed allowances and validity rather than choosing from a headline alone. A Bangkok weekend and a long stay with laptop use need different comparisons.
Editorial disclosure: this comparison is written by the ESIM0 team, which sells travel eSIMs. We checked the providers’ official product pages on 8 October 2026. This is a comparison of published terms, not a field test or an independent ranking. Product selections and terms can change.
Thailand offers at a glance
| Provider | Published product details | Buying check |
|---|---|---|
| Simbye | Fixed 1–50 GB options and daily plans stating 2 GB high-speed/day, then 1 Mbps. AIS and DTAC are listed. | Distinguish the data product from any separate product with a telephone number. |
| eSIMFOX | Data-only Thailand offer listing AIS and DTAC, QR/manual installation and validity from first connection in Thailand. | Check the live selected allowance and top-up conditions. |
| ESIM0 | Fixed 1–50 GB bundles and daily 1, 2 or 3 GB high-speed allowances followed by 1 Mbps. | Match the exact bundle’s expiry to your stay; data-only, without a Thai number. |
What the official pages say
Simbye’s Thailand data page lists fixed options including 1 GB/7 days and 50 GB/180 days. It allows hotspot sharing and says validity begins at the first destination connection. Its daily offer states 2 GB of high-speed data per day, followed by 1 Mbps. These are the terms of the cited data product, not every product sold under the brand.
eSIMFOX’s Thailand page lists 4G/5G where available, email and dashboard delivery, and top-ups without a new eSIM. Its displayed selection at the time of checking was 10 GB/30 days. That selection is an example, not a complete catalogue or evidence that every package has identical terms. The page lists 24/7 WhatsApp support.
The ESIM0 Thailand selection currently includes fixed 1 GB/7 days, 3 GB with 15- or 30-day validity, and larger bundles including 50 GB options with different expiry periods. Daily packages provide 1, 2 or 3 GB of high-speed data each day, then continue at 1 Mbps. Check the selected plan rather than assuming every 50 GB offer lasts the same number of days.
Daily data and total data solve different problems
With a fixed bundle, you manage one balance over its validity period. This can suit a trip with a few heavy-use days and many lighter days. With a daily package, the high-speed allowance is defined per day, so comparing only the number of gigabytes printed in a product title is misleading.
A reduced-speed connection can keep basic online tasks possible, but does not promise the same experience as the earlier high-speed allowance. Large cloud uploads, app downloads and video calls can be demanding. Download essential travel information over Wi-Fi and keep important addresses available offline.
If you need a Thai telephone number for a specific service, verify that requirement separately. A data-only eSIM does not provide ordinary incoming calls or SMS. Your existing messaging apps can use mobile data, while verification codes addressed to your home number still depend on access to that number.
Network names are not a speed ranking
Two sellers listing the same local networks do not necessarily sell the same underlying package. Routing, roaming agreements, plan configuration and device behaviour can differ. Equally, a network name alone does not show that one seller performs worse.
We have not tested these offers side by side in Bangkok, Phuket or rural Thailand. We therefore make no measured speed, latency or coverage ranking. Check the provider’s current coverage and device requirements for the locations you actually plan to visit.
Before you pay
- Check your exact phone model and that it is unlocked. Use our compatibility guide before ordering.
- Match the destination, trip length and high-speed allowance. A daily allowance resets; a total allowance is shared across the whole validity period.
- Read the activation rule on the selected plan. Installation and the start of paid validity are not necessarily the same event.
- Compare the final checkout total in the same currency, for the same number of days and devices. Include any discount conditions and required extras.
- Save the installation instructions while you have reliable Wi-Fi. Keep your usual SIM’s data roaming off and select the travel eSIM for mobile data.
Our recommendation for choosing
Use the final package terms to shortlist: one fixed bundle for your total needs, or one daily bundle whose high-speed allowance fits a typical day. If hotspot is essential, obtain confirmation for the exact offer. Keep a copy of the purchase details and activation instructions so that support can identify the package you bought.
For ESIM0, start with the Thailand plans and ask through the contact page if you need help comparing validity or reduced-speed behaviour. We do not claim ESIM0 is always the cheapest or the best choice for every traveller.
FAQ
Are Simbye and eSIMFOX the same provider?
They are separate storefront brands. This article compares their published Thailand product pages and does not infer a shared company or identical service from similar plan features.
Does a 50 GB bundle always last 180 days?
No. Validity belongs to the exact package. The ESIM0 selection includes different 50 GB validity periods, so check the expiry before purchase.
Does ESIM0 daily data stop after 1 GB?
On a 1 GB/day Thailand plan described here, high-speed data is reduced to 1 Mbps after the daily allowance; data continues under the plan terms. Higher daily allowances are also listed.
Will a Thailand data eSIM give me a local number?
Not automatically. ESIM0 is data-only. For other providers, read the exact product’s calls and SMS details rather than applying one product’s features to the entire brand.
Can I buy before travelling?
You can prepare before departure, but check the plan’s installation and activation deadlines. Use reliable Wi-Fi and read our activation guide before installing.
